Angie Ling, PA-C - Dermatology Physician Associate
Born in Malaysia, Angie Ling grew up in Monterey Park and has always felt a strong connection to the San Gabriel Valley community. Mandarin is her first language, and she also speaks and understands Cantonese, allowing her to communicate and connect deeply with patients from diverse backgrounds. Angie completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at UC Riverside before earning her Master of Health Services from the UC Davis Physician Assistant Program.
Before pursuing her passion for dermatology, Angie spent over five years practicing emergency medicine, where she treated a wide variety of urgent and complex medical conditions. Through her experience in the ER and urgent care, she encountered countless dermatologic concerns, from rashes and infections to acute skin reactions, which sparked her growing interest in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. Angie enjoys caring for patients in the same community she grew up in and is dedicated to helping close language and resource gaps to ensure her patients feel understood, supported, and confident in their care.
Outside of work, Angie loves to travel and explore new cuisines and cultures. She enjoys cooking and baking at home, experimenting with skincare, and staying active through Pilates. Her genuine care for patients and thoughtful, detail-oriented approach make her an integral part of the True Dermatology team.

My name is Calvin Sung M.D., F.A.A.D. and I am a board certified dermatologist, Clinical Faculty at UCR School of Medicine, and published hair loss scientist passionate about treating hair loss. Here at True Dermatology, we are an independent physician owned (NOT Private Equity Owned" practice not here to sell another over-priced "anti-aging vitamin C serum" products or "packages" that you don't need. In fact, we don't sell any products at all! Simply put, we are NOT a "Med Spa". Our focus is to help you achieve younger and healthier hair and skin.
To me your acne is more than just a pimple, and hair loss is something I take to heart having been a patient myself. Your skin and hair tells the story of your life, where you have been, what you do, and your overall health.
